If others are supposed to do your all work what are you doing there? you should only expect help if you have already done some work on it and you stuck in between.

Which?

1. Electromechanical relay (aka Aux contactor)

2. Protective relay

2.1 Thermal

2.2 Electronic

2.2.1 Analog

2.2.2 Digital

2.2.2.1 Microprocessor-based

2.2.2.2 Non-μp-based

3. Solid-state, PCB mountable, multicontact relay.....

so on.

Or do you mean something else ?

Anish, if you type "make a relay" or "build a relay" into an internet search engine, you can find instructions on how to do this.

This is one of those questions that just can't be what it seems to be. It's beyond belief that people can manage to find CR4 but can't use the same skill to find some simple thing they're looking for.

Materials:

  • Non-metallic tube
  • An iron or steel nail that fits inside the hole of said tube
  • Copper insulated wire, at least 20ga
  • DC power source, i.e. battery or DC power supply
  • A small light bulb and holder, suitable to the available power source
  • Popsicle sticks or other non-metallic building material
  • Roll of duct tape
  1. Attach wires to lamp / lampholder
  2. Connect one end to power source
  3. Tape other wire bare end to popsicle stick
  4. Tape another wire to the popsicle stick so that the bare wire ends are separated by a distance less than the size of the nail head.
  5. Wrap several turns of copper wire around the tube, attach one end to the power source
  6. Mount the tube vertically so that the nail will rise up. Cut the nail length if necessary
  7. With prodigious use of duct tape, devise a way to suspend the popsicle stick above the nail so that when it rises up, it hits the bare wires.
  8. When you touch the other end of the coil wire to the power source, the nail should rise and make contact, completing the circuit to the lamp. If it doesn't, reverse the polarity.
  9. If the coil is not strong enough to raise the nail, add turns and/or use a larger power source.

Not enough. My wife is a teacher, Special Ed Certified, Master's Degree, 20+ years experience. She makes half of what I do.

And yet I keep seeing people here and everywhere claim that public school teachers are overpaid.
