The basics can be found on Wikipedia. There are sites on the web that you can buy studies off but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the one I used to use. Something like what you ask for would roughly be $6,000-$10,000 USD (roughly). Yes, that is why I USED to use those sites.

I did part of what you ask a few years ago (analysis of technology, all world manufacturers and main suppliers, etc), took me about 6 months to do and is now slightly out of date (so no help).

Try Wikipedia.
