British Standard 7671 provides an upper limit of 100m2 for a single 32A domestic ring circuit. Above that area, multiples of ring circuits should be provided.

It depends on type of installation-home,restaurant,school,hospital, supermarket, hotel, temple etc and its size(small, medium, large)and facilities like air conditioning/heating ,also on type of industry(worksop, steel, paper, textile etc)
