02/27/2011 9:28 AM

I started a new thread in electrical today, it vanished! So reposted it, that vanished!

What's the reason?

They're in the list if you go to

An Admin had deemed them "not good enough" to stay on the front page.

Happens to me fairly often, and is pretty irritating. You can sometimes appeal, and get a thread reinstated to the front page.

[Edit - just checked, and they're on the front page now. Sure they disappeared for a while (or maybe I had a brain-fart). IGNORE THIS REPLY!]

That's true. Some threads won't stay on the front page for more than a couple of minutes. I just go straight to, see all forum threads, anymore.

I have also wondered myself as to why so many active threads get filed away right away while so many dead ones will sit on the front page for up to a week without a single reply or relevant one added.

And it wondered to me also that so many intelligent people get confused about how CR4 does works, ( sorry CR4 admin these all are evening thoughts so no offense please)
