Refinery Recut calculation

Please explain me what is exactly mean by "Recut Calculation" used in refinery

It's essentially trying to figure out how to make the cheapest product you can, with the fuels at hand so that you can maximize your profits, while still meeting minimum specifications for that particular product. (mostly)
