One Week in Each Country Makes a Good Mobile Engineer

04/06/2007 11:08 PM

I thought of this very seriously that 1-week in each country can make good physically mobile engineer. It will create a dynamic world and lots of information sharing.

Those of you are experts in some kind of real engineering can visit India and interact with our young engineers in education and I can arrange for your free stay in hotel and perhaps can finance your to and fro travel ticket. All you need to do is to deliver a good talk with lots of screen based presentation to show a good way to engineers in the making.

You can be invited number of times and hence can remain on this fun travel trip if you wish for as long as you like doing this.

Does that ring bells in you and you wana visit India? Write to me.

Much more likely to wear you out and think of the cost, both in money and time but also in pollution. Travelling on the net is much quicker less expensive can get you in contact with many thousands of people. Allows you to be at home or work so others can also go with you at no extra cost. Just like here on CR4.

I agree it is tiring and need planned things. However, I have experienced and also seen others doing much better in this way as there is always a new charm than being with one kind of environment.

Look at the show biz, and formula one racers and many such teams, who travel a lot each time they have perform with greater challenge.

I was travelling for similar 1-week long trips for many years and found that each new group I met had new story, and my work also was new and something interesting to add to the life.

I did some long distance also that needed 22-hours in flight from New Delhi to Sanfrancisco via Frankfurt, was sure very tough. I also travelled to Texas via London. Long distances I travel business class and Lufthansa was comfortable to some extent. Even American Airline and Air India were OK but British airways was not so good.

I don't mind such long travel if there is good team waiting for me to join. Money is very virtual and for some engineers it should not matter as long as they are doing some good work of value. Unless you do something that brings in big money, this may become too expensive. I work on high value developments so that is not much short of problem. I decide on how much I should I in terms of business and I am not working for some one but for myself and my family.

Hmmm. Guess you wouldn't be interested in a former air force mechanic turned swordmaker and sensei then.

I think India has very good population of Sikhs who like to have one sword for each man.

This has not come to India as a sport but sounds like a good thing. Indians these days can spend lots of money on fun and this types of sports. Hence, try to make a team with any recreation and sport promotion venture people and it may well click.

There are billion people here so even a kitchen knife is used in good numbers. Try out any idea here and it is sure to make business sense.

I use gamma knife.
