Clarke 150EN Mig Welder

03/27/2011 7:41 PM

I have the above mentioned welder and the manufacture no longer makes replacement parts (bankruptcy). It is my understanding that the torch was made by Tweco, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone have a cross-reference between the Tweco parts and Clark, especially the nozzle, gas diffuser, and welding tips? It may cross over to some model of a Lincoln.

Tweco and Lincoln make their own guns but as far as cross referencing goes the vast majority of the generic welders have compatible parts with the brand name stuff so its usually just a matter of taking your old parts to a local welding supply shop and doing a physical match from what you have to what they have.

GA

Also the OP could simply replace the whole gun fpr less than $100 mfor new, with cable.

Also he could probably get a secondhand one on ebay for even less....I looked on ebay USA and they went from $1.99 to $200.00......he should take his pick.

Why muck about with something that may or may not be available anymore....unless he is really lucky and other manufacturer's parts fit......

I appreciate your response, however I do not need the items now, I only wanted to be prepared to obtain consumables when I needed to. Northern Tools has a package that contains tips, gas diffusers, and nozzles. Northern states that it will fit their brand, Lincoln, and Tweco. I suppose I just assumed that Lincoln or Tweco probably made the parts for Clarke and I was hoping that someone could confirm this and direct me to a cross-reference guide. I do appreciate your response and if I learn anymore I will post it.

The Clarke 150TE is available from Machine Mart in the UK, is that the same torch? If so, maybe your local store can get it.

Thank you very much for your response. I went to that site and they appear to be identical, however the part numbers for replacement parts do not match. I have sent an e-mail to them asking if they would furnish me a cross-reference for the part numbers and if the two machines were indeed identical. Your information is extremely helpful but I would still like to know if there is a cross-reference for the part numbers on Tweco or Lincoln-parts would be much easier to obtain in the states.
