Can you describe a little more? The combined term "drag slat conveyor" is unfamiliar, but I know of conveyors described as "drag conveyors" or "slat conveyors."

In what condition is the asphalt: temperature, size of particles/chunks, etc.? How many pounds/tons/cubic feet per hour? Horizontal or uphill? Etc., etc.

Sorry but this smacks of reinventing the wheel. There are many manufactures of drag conveyors out there, contact one of them.
