Why in on load operation the output voltage differ from no load opertion of cockroft walton dc generator ?

It is due voltage drop within the ohmic resistance of the armature winding.

On load the working field flux is also weakened due to armature reaction.

its based on voltage multiplier principal.only capacitance and doides are there.
