We have Diesel Gen Set SDMO 1500kva, Engine Mitsubishi and Controller From Tellys. When we keep in Auto Mode A coolant Leakage Started from below or from sensor point located at heater point. We tried to fix many time but after a short time leak started again resulting dg set unoperational and losing coolant. Please advise how we settle the problem. Thanks and best regards

Additional info would be of some help.

Describe the function of "Auto Mode A".

Describe what the "sensor point located at heater point" is.

A picture is worth a thousand words!

Based on your limited explanation thus far, I don't see a correlation between "Auto Mode A" and a "coolant leak".

If it is a matter of a leaking coolant sensor, rather than trying to "fix" the old one, purchase a new one, remove the sensor lead, remove the old sensor, clean the threads (if applicable), apply thread sealer (if applicable), install new sensor, attach sensor lead, and as long as the sensor mating orifice is not cracked, worn, or deteriorated you should be good to go.

Have you found the exact source of the leak? What is it--is it a hole in a piece of metal (pipe, water jacket / casing of the diesel engine), is it from a worn / broken hose, from near a fitting (that might be loose or have a bad gasket or worn threads or similar)?

What have you tried, so far, to repair it?

A. You settle the problem by having a competent technician repair the leak. That might cost some money, though.

B. You could also try some radiator sealant.

The above two will cost some money.

C. If you dpn't want to spend any money, you could just remove the radiator cap and run a hose into the tank and adjust the volume of incoming water to match that of the leakage rate.

Please let us know which fix you take.

I agree wholeheartedly on point "A".............competent, being the key word.

It seems obvious that after trying to stop the leak several times..........what has actually been done and a more detailed plan or photo given to show where the leak is actually coming from on the engine.

Pls. try Belzona cement or check the web site form more info and issue (applicable to copper, aluminum, steel etc.) - if leak still persist, then replace the leaking parts.

I think that this leak should not be patched up.............it should be fixed correctly, especially since it has been tried to be patched up a number of times.

Don't get me wrong, I think Belzona is an an excellent product, but not in this particular case...........fix the problem correctly.
