Ark Where is it

04/16/2011 9:03 AM

Hi, All

Satellite pictures taken last summer of Mount Ararat in Turkey may reveal the final resting place of Noah's ark, according to Daniel McGivern, the businessman and Christian activist behind a planned summer 2004 expedition to investigate the site.

"We're telling people we're 98 percent sure," said McGivern, a member of the Hawaii Christian Coalition. "In one image we saw the beams, saw the wood. I'm convinced that the excavation of the object and the results of tests run on any collected samples will prove that it is Noah's ark.

Regard's

"behind a planned summer 2004 expedition to investigate the site."

What happened, get caught by a time warp? Is that summer 2004 expedition still in the planning stages?

Didn't we just go through this???????????????

Anyway, it"s still BS!

Prematurely raptured, ruptured, or riptured, no doubt. Whadevah.

When the Rapture comes, just think of all the neat stuff that will be left behind for us to play with.

On the last Ark thread, I questioned how eight humans could shovel all the pucky. Within about ten minutes, the thread was obliterated (not just closed.) Shall we take bets on when this one bites the dust?

At one time I read an interesting article about the findings of the ark. its gets "found" on average about every 18 - 30 months. Since around 1900 its been reported found about 50 times now.

Also its directly proportional to the need for a moral booster in the Christian faith and the churches need for extra cash flow. It gets announced that its been found then church attendance and moral goes up for a while which is of course directly proportional to church cash flow.

Go figure and cry wolf anyone?

I started to write something "Witty and or possibly Funny", about this stuff.

But everytime we do, we are giving "Anonymous" some sort of credibility, so...Yes...I am doing it again.....

Ark is about a 98% anagram of Crap.

It looks like it. It smells like it. It tastes like it.

Cheers

Right Oh. Right Oh....!

75%, but I did say "about", and the percentage of crap is irrelevant., at the end of the day.

Cheers.

Like UFO or Elvis sightings, most can easily be quickly and reliably discounted for a number of good reasons.

If you can't find it once you get to the site just look under the Shroud of Turin.

No matter what you believe there is generally some truth in a religious historical document or story, and this one has been around for years.

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2010/04/100428-noahs-ark-found-in-turkey-science-religion-culture/

Is it the ark, or something else (Noah's indoor petting zoo perhaps). We may never know, the actual evidence isn't that promising however when comparing scientific fact to religious historical documentation.

Jack - On the fence about this one
