04/11/2011 10:12 PM

Hi, All

why not put a wind turbine in a car to charge the battery while going down the road?

or something that will continue charging the battery, i have electric vehicle and every after 10 hour of driving i need to plug in from the power source to re-charge. if this thing can be done i save alot of time/cost?

Oh boy has that horse been flogged (or more to the point has that subject been exhaustively discussed on CR4 previously).

Short answer is it won't work unless the vehicle is at a standstill (and the turbine has run for a long time to offset its weight contribution being carried around in the vehicle). even then there are issues that make it economically un-viable.

Pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps doesn't work either, for much the same reason.

I'm working on such a vehicle, even now.

It has a deployable sail to take advantage of the wind, a wind turbine generator to charge the on-board battery bank while sailing and motor/generators built into the wheels so that we can charge the batteries from both sources and drive the wheels with the batteries.

It will have solar panels built into the entire outer body for direct drive or charging.

For really demanding service, it will have a mini-turbo internal combustion billy-bob cycle engine with HHO injection coupled to a fan that will blow directly onto the wind turbine generator to produce a lotta mo-jo.

Are you going to have those wheels that keep going too?

Yes, but there are are actually small generators in each hubcap to charge the batteries, too. They transmit the DC current directly to the battery without wires. It's too cool. It works on the Granola principle of refracted energy translation through the hither, thither and yon.

C'mon guys, if they can use them on commercial aircraft why not on land???!?!

See page 5, the only "detail" is the need to be 40,000 ft in the air @ 500mph, but hey that never stopped any of the other inventors of perpetual-motion machines!
