Honeywell Paperless Recorder(v6 minitrend)

got a minitrend paperless recorder. the normall booting sequence when powered-up will perform scanning on the ff:

System Integrity Checks - indicates healthy

Running Database Integrity Checks - indicates healthy

but when on the next checking sequence on Creating File of 1024, the scanning stuck-up on 75 instead of finishing the checks up to 1024, thus rendering the recorder in-operable.

have any idea what this mean? tried also looking on the provided recorder manual but no definite list of this type of problem. also tried to contact honeywell process solutions but no reply. any help or idea are much appreciated.

What firmware version is it running? (menu > status > general)

The latest on the web is version IQ

well Iris, the link you've provided is for the trend manager software as my way of understanding is for the pc application. my concern is for the recorder itself on what could be the possible solutions of the posted problem.

See the 4th item down the list, gray background. X Series Firmware Version IQ.

Note that updates to FW and earler will clear out the saved and screen data.

And there's no guarantee on whether a firmware update fixes the problem or not, but it's worth a shot.

Iris, the problem is, can't access the menu cause during the booting sequence as i have mentioned, the Creating File booting stops at 75 whereby access to set up and configuration are not possible. thanks
