We are doing calibration of pressure transmitter by Druck calibrator. Then why HART calibrator we have to use? It is used for betch calibration or site calibration.

Friend,

Are you talking about Hart Field communicator?

If your answer is yes, the Hart (name used in many places to refer to Field Communicator 275/375/475) is not a calibrator is a device used to get communication with the transmitter in order to see its configuration (Tag, Range, Output mode and more) also you can do some activities as perform zero trim, adjust mA, lower and upper trim and more, depend of what yours needs.

Remember that HART is a communication protocol

I hope this help

Regards
JP

Hart communicator is a communication protocol used for finding the range, making zero span triming , adding tags or loop checking.

As mentioned by Instruments-guy-SAV HART Filed communicator is a device which communicates with HART devices.

HART Communicator can be used to Configure/View the Parameters of a HART Device like Range values, Damping Values, Tag Names, and if your Device supports some enhanced parameters/or secondary variables like in case of Pressure transmitter, if it supports Temperature as a secondary variable then you can configure the ranges and alarms value for it. You can use HART Communicator to give command to device to simulate the PV (Current values). And you can calibrate the devices. These all function you can do remotely, I mean you need not to hook up the HART Communicator on the device if its already commissioned and installed. Just connect the HART communicator in the MDF/Marshalling cabinet and access the device configuration.

If your Device is smart enough to give you some Diagnostic information, you can use the HART communicator to see that.
