TN and TT Earthing System

Can someone clarify to me the technical merits and demerits of TN and TT earthing system as applied in building system.

Yep. British Standard 7671 can.

A lengthy subject of discussion indeed! Pl. refer to teh website "www-i-gard.com". In one of their publications they have compared various earthing systems.
