Are you taking a test, or did you loose your text book?

It is considered impolite to type in all CAPS.

Dear friend,

Since you are new to this site, you should know the ethics and rules of this site. From my experience here Examination questions are not accepted in this site for discussion. If you are a technician, supervisor or engineer or even layman during carrying out the job if you come across technical problems it is discussed here by members and possible solutions are recommended. Even many other technical problems are discussed valuable knowledge is exchanged between people from many countries around the globe. Your questions appears as examination questions. More over answers for these questions are available in fundamental books and also you can get from a search of Google or Wikipedia. So you do not have to valuable time of others. While putting up or answering usage of capital letters are considered shouting and considered as in decent and bad manners. So please read your text books and avoid shortcuts.

Oops! Answering your queries requires one to write one chapter each on transformers & motors. Please reda J & P Transformer Book and Areva's NPAG.
