How to Design Horizontal and Vertical Thermosyphon Reboilers

05/01/2011 5:38 PM

Can anyone point to a website, literature or provide a "how to" conduct calculations to size thermosyphon reboilers pertaining to the refinery applications. Any help will be much appreciated.

Here are some possible resources: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=2&oq=thermosip&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4ACEW_en___US408&q=thermosiphon+reboiler

I suspect that good design information will be largely proprietary, or hidden in obscure technical articles. Best of luck.
