From the state where I last lived, there were many towns that had more "hotties" than their respective populations. This suggest ballot-box stuffing.

I didn't find the hot waste sites page, if any.

I think that only a flaming idiot would have been searching for such a site in the first place.

Care to discuss who I think the flaming idiot is?

Sure, I'm willing to disgust this....

A hornet is a gigantic bee, so I guess a "hornetson" is just a gigantic son-of-a-bee.

The preponderance of religion/politics in your posts, together with the paucity of engineering, suggests that this conjecture might be on target.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your assiduous response to my post. Here, to my understanding, is the written mission of the link, shown in bold, to my OP:

Hot-People

Hot-People informs the public about the murky dangers of toxic waste sites and other environmental hazards.

Most people are not aware of how close they may live to current or former toxic waste dumps. Some of these have been determined by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to be contaminated with toxins that can lead to cancer, respiratory ailments, and birth defects, among other problesm(sic). Some sites are contaminated

We encourage everyone to look themselves up and to check on their "Hot Rating", which is an empirical estimate of their proximity to EPA toxic waste dumps. The links next to your name point you to some of the closest hot, toxic waste dumps, like this one:(omitted by poster)

If you, and others , have issue with the mission of this link, please direct your displeasure with them directly.

As to your attempt to etymologize 'hornetson' as you have, you are sadly mistaken.

The true meaning lay from within the culture it was born and distant from your understanding.

Cordially,

Hornetson

You have been completely evasive to the issues that have been raised here. But if you want to be so offensively obtuse and dishonest, that's up to you.

The site clearly states (in huge font)

Your resource for locating your proximity to hot toxic waste sites

which got me interested, but the site (and its associated links) have less to do with with hot toxic waste site locations and much more to do with online dating (with locations and phone numbers) wrapped up in an advertisement delivery system. Hardly something I would trust as a valid database. Ignore as you would a homemade pseudoscience website.

Am I missing something? Has there been a new slang term created and I was not messaged on My-space about it.

"Woh dude, check out that hot toxic waste in the red bikini !"

Sorry, friend(?) that you, and all others with similar responses, linked to something other that was not the intention of my OP.

To Lyn, post #2; my accidental link to this site was because of the higher than normal incidence of breast cancer among women in my surrounding neighborhood for many, many years. Shame on you for disparaging my attempt to alert others that may also benefit from this link.(appropriate emoticon not shown)

Your link (posted with absolutely no comment, leaving us to guess if you were either posting it as a service or inquiring as to what we thought of it) is dubious due to its potentially biased nature (it seems to be a private community user group), large amount of advertising, but mostly because I could find no correlation between how the 'hotness' scale was actually calculated, lending to serious scepticism over the data.

Better to post the approved source if people are concerned regarding local environmental hazards in the US.

"dubious due to its potentially biased nature (it seems to be a private community user group), large amount of advertising"

Sorry that I cannot respond on what you have linked to, but my site has no advertising.

As to if it is; "dubious due to its potentially biased nature (it seems to be a private community user group)" , and; "I could find no correlation between how the 'hotness' scale was actually calculated, lending to serious scepticism over the data.", my only response to: Take It For It Is. Check out your own local if you wish.

Look chaps, I've no vested interested in this link, other than to maybe help someone, someway to identify a potential hazard in your midst.

Signing off to all responses, +'s or -'s.

WHAT?? You gave only one link; how could we link to anything else? And how was it "not intended"? Or do you not read the links you provide?

When you post a link with absolutely no prologue or explanation, you get what you deserve.

Now, you're claiming injury because I'm not sensitive to cancer patients? Well, I've had my fight with cancer and so far, after surgery, I'm cancer free for the time being.

So, get off your high horse and tell us why you're here.

God, what a rip-off. If I wanted to find the 20 women and 5 men who are allegedly looking for me, I would have to subscribe with money.

If I get a bunch of spam out of this, I'll know who started it.

Dodging pitchforks, eh? Is that why you are in some new location rather than in the last one?

Better delete your cookies to make sure, and log back into CR4.

Toxic waste? Breast cancer? The OP obviously didn't check his link..................the whole site is toxic.

For anyone even remotely interested in the link, see post #11. Short answer - good intentions do not make up for bad or misleading data.

How Hornetson missed the embedded banners EVERYWHERE and imbedded links next to every single database contact indicates he may not have looked at the website properly, or I need to get a hold of the web browser he is using.

A round of paws slapped for everyone else who got just a bit carried away with their personal attacks rather than being just a little bit more tolerant.
