could the hoard of jelly fish that is causing big problems (not so big I guess considering) in Japan be harvested and used for fuel and medical research?

Since jelly fish are 90% water, fuel is out.

Medical research................sure, but they would only need a relative few of them until they came up with some ground breaking application for them.
