Re: Is there any difference of masonry, brick wall or dry wall?

Brick is a type of masonry, so a brick wall will be a masonry wall. But a masonry wall will not necessarily be a brick wall, because masonry also includes such as stone, concrete blocks, clay blocks, etc.
Boy that was easy, pretty good definitions of the differences between them.
Didn't look up brick wall it's pretty self explanatory. A wall made out of brick.

hien,
No offense intended, but your internet browser is more than just a gateway to CR4....................it's also a search engine. Yep, you can actually type a word or term into the search window, push enter, and a list of answers to your query pop up.
Check it out, it's pretty cool.

I agree with kramarat. You could at least try a search or two, before coming here to ask elementary questions.
As a matter of fact, I will no longer respond to any question from you, unless you post at least two web sites that proves you made a little effort to do your own work.
Have you ever searched for any information before coming here,(Google, wiki, etc) or are we your free reference library?

Oh, my bad. It's just a confirmation.
Yes, there is a difference.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. For a minute I thought you wanted us to do an internet search, find reliable published reports on each item, and post them here for you to peruse at your leisure.
Hope this helps.

A masonry wall is made of solid units such as bricks, stones, blocks, etc., and held together with mortar. Such walls are weather proof (practically speaking). However, DRY WALL is made of mined material. From Wikipedia:
Drywall, also known as plasterboard or gypsum board, is a panel made of gypsum plaster pressed between two thick sheets of paper. It is used to make interior walls and ceilings.
