So, I'll just take a guess--you want to find information on electrical equipment, like electric motors and generators (rotating equipment) and things like transformers (static equipment)?

Can you tell us more about why? If you're looking for a job in those areas, you really need to embark on a path of education, not just ask some questions--there is an awful lot to learn, and a big liability if you take a job and don't know (or can't quickly learn) how to do it safely.

Static equipment is equipment which remains static unless influenced by an earthquake or bomb or such. Rotating equipment is equipment which rotates due to energy input, either from nearby power lines, earthquake, or a bomb or such. In this manner, a car can be a static piece of equipment which turns into a rotating piece of equipment due to an earthquake.
