Bakal Pressbrake Problem

05/17/2011 6:31 AM

Hi Again,

I have a problem with a Bakal pressbrake, using an EC 4 C Controller.

First problem was we had lines across the screen, so we thought this was simple problem of replacing the controller. First you save the machine and operator parremeters to a USB. Fit new controller load parrameters and the machine should operate.

But it didn't operate this way, after the indexing procedure, the Y axis would not travel down because the proportional valves for the Y axis would not operate.

Yes I have contacted Bakal but the wheels over there seem to take some time to get into motion, this is why I have decided to post this question to the forum.

The safetys are working ok the down valves are operating, but no movement because the proportional down valves are not operating.

Has any of you, experienced the same problem?

Best Regards

Joe

Don't worry this post, problem has been sorted.

The problem was the USB memory sticks with the programme on them had been corrupted and when downloading the programme, the machine was getting the wrong information.

Cheers

Joe
