About The API Thread Size

Our company manufactures HDD drill pipes for our clients. One of our clients asked us to manufacture the drill pipes accordingly. In his inquiry he mentioned that the drill pipes' thread sizes are 1.41-6 API and 2.40-4 API. Does anybody knows what does "1.41-6 API" and "2.40-6 API" mean? If possible please kindly provide the detailed information about this two thread sizes. Thanks in advance.
