	What is LP EV and SEV Pulsation in Gas Turbine ? (I found it in Alstom Make GT26) We have protection in on High Pulsation >100 mbar. It gives signal on different frequency and converts it into mbar signal. What is pulsation ? Why it is so important ? Why it is measured in terms of frequency and converts in mbar? Can anyone explain in detail about pulsation ???

	It seems like you have combustion tuning data. In Alstom GT26, as in other gas turbines, there are sevaral steps from initial firing to 100% load. Not all combustors come on line at once, it is staged as the gas turbine ramps up the load. Each combustor creates a pressure (or noise) which is measured in mbar. At the commissioning time, the combustors are tuned to ignite and thus creating a prescribed pressure wave. Any deviation from this pattern may give rise to pulsation indicating a problem with combustors (broken, cligged etc.). This will also be manifestated in the emission profile. GT26 has two stage combustion process, LP and SEV may be referring to those two combustion chambers. __________________ Continuous Learning

	Thank you for your Answer. At least now i knew that what is pulsation. Yes we have 2 combustion chambers. EV and SEV. I heard so many answers but all were wrong. Anyway, we have faced high pulsation problem twice with this machine. And each time they changes some turbine temperature settings after analysis of few parameters i.e C2+, Load, Speed, Gas CV and lot more. So what are the basic funda behind that. So can you explain me that how the pulsation is depends on other GT parameters. Because after changing temperature parameter settings of GT, pulsation became normal.

	sir, what is exactly low frequency pulsation, high frequency pulsation and narrow frequency pulsation in reference to Siemens gas turbine SGT700 As a whole i know these all are combustor pulsations please tell me difference between these(low high and narrow)
