1 Phase Miss

Hi dear,s,

please tell me that for example 1 phase miss of an E.L.C.B and load is divided on 2 phases then what will be in circuit. is it flashed after some time. or reduce it,s efficeincy.

A residual current circuit breaker looks for the instantaneous vector sum of all the currents flowing through it. If one phase is missing, and the vector sum of the remaining phases and neutral do not exceed its trip setting, the device will not operate. If they do, it will.
