Is the university of South Florida in Tampa any good for MS in Electrical Engineering? I would like to read some (genuine, no crap please) opinions on the university.
There are 3 universities in Florida I'm somewhat familiar with. Of those 3, I'd pick The University of Florida, in Gainesville, over USF simply due to the large amount of research funding it receives and the overall size of the school which widens the possibilities for research projects. The other school is Central Florida in Orlando. It's advantage is its proximity to a large Lockheed Martin facility, to NASA and to other aerospace corporations in the nearby 'Spacecoast' region of Florida, and to the large number of laser and electro-optics companies in the Orlando area. (I think it's a toss-up between UCF and USF, but others more familiar with both might have more info.)
You really ought to go online and look at what each school offers in terms of fields of research and find one that does something that appeals to you. Needless to say there are lots of good engineering schools all over the U.S.
