These are steel grades.

The maximum pressure that any solid can withstand without permanent deformation is defined as its Yield Point on its stress/strain curve.

The pressure any structure made from them can withstand is obtained by doing a force balance calculation on a theoretical section through the structure. Welcome to Stress Analysis.

These are all piping standards. the max sustained operating pressures depend on the thickness(schedule) of the pipe.

...and the temperature of the fluid within them. The Engineer/Surveyor for the company supplying burst/collapse indemnity insurance cover may well add to the restrictions based upon observed condition at intervals.
