Where Have The Moderators Gone?

I think it just lost steam. It seems alot like the questions you'd get asked if you were going on a first date, minus the seafood dinner

I didn't see very many "So what's your sign" questions. I saw (mostly, anyway) an effort of the part of the community to sort of gauge the general knowledge base of ta new moderator. I think we have a sort of expectation that moderators can and will participate in the threads, offering some insight or information related to the subject of a thread, as opposed to simply cruising the crystal clear CR4 waters in search of inappropriate images or language.

There is at least one moderator with zero posts, and more mods with only 3 or 4 posts. My question here is: Where Have The Moderators Gone? Baxter, I have seen you out playing with the rest of us kids. Do you enjoy it, or is more like playground supervisor duty for you?

I can honestly say I enjoy it. I'm not super technical which can be problematic when trying to contribute, but when threads are posted in my scope I like being helpful. I particularly the engineering news section and do my best to keep it full of interesting content.

I'm very much about keeping the peace and a positive vibe to CR4 even with the dumbest of questions being asked via threads. I very much believe in the ol "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all".
