This depends on the totality of your goals. For maximum horsepower from a small engine, you could go for a two-stroke, but you will have to mix oil into your fuel, and the engine will usually run louder. Probably no bike is really safe, because even if your driving skills are good, other motorists may not see you. On public roads, keep your headlight on, and use a "Q switch" or like device that varies the light intensity to make you more noticeable. My biking days are long ago, but I had a Honda Trail 125 that I loved. On the highway, it would do 60 mph on the flat, but not uphill or with a headwind. It was light and nimble for trail riding, four-stroke and reasonably quiet. Wear a helmet, drive carefully, and enjoy your biking!

......and get some training. In the UK, it is mandatory to receive accredited training prior to taking a motorcycle test in pursuit of a full licence for a motorcycle. If it is not mandatory in India it is, at least, highly recommended.

According to me if u want a bike of good engine and millage in 125cc segment, you can go either for bajaj discover or hero honda glamour..

If u want ur bike to be stylish then u can also consider honda stunner.

all companies are know for different standards....

like yahama bikes for their pick up and power.

honda for their silent and smooth engine.

hero honda and bajaj bike require less maintainence.

instead of going for bajaj pulsat 135, u can go for discover 150. both have almost the same cost.

but you will get more power in discover 150..
