hi

can somebody help me to understand what exactly VAPOUR DISTRIBUTION BELT does in heat exchanger. Please do help me with diagram, if any

I'm guessing here, but this might be a trough or strip of perforated metal toward the top of the exchanger, which "spreads out" the vapor inlet stream so that it flows more evenly over the tubes.

Sorry, I don't have a good drawing program on this computer. But if the left (word) brain connects with the right (visual) brain, it should be easy to figure out what a strip or trough along the top of a heat exchanger looks like.
