Dike Wall

Electrical motors, cables, earth pit can be allowed inside the dike wall or what are all the standards to be followed in the case of construction and design in of a dike wall in India for a storage of chemical or solvent .

It is a furnace oil tank. It is stored around 50 to 60 deg C at atmospheric pressure at ground level

You should check with your local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction).

In my local, electrical equipment is permitted provided the electrical systems are installed per the area classification. CL1 Div1, CL2 Div2, Non-Hazardous, ect.
