Information on Power Logger for Wind Turbine Project

Hey there, I'm currently working on a wind turbine project in a rural area. I designed a power logger, but now I need to send the information (power value)via sms(cellphone network) to somebody in the city. I realy need your help on that. Thanks

Google "HSUPA Modem". You should get lots of info.

Do you have internet on this logger? Linux OS?
You can find a PERL script along with the mailtools in Linux to send SMS. I do this with my backup programs. Get a gmail account for the station and use that to send SMS via google voice. Store the password and login in /etc and use a link to the file from your script.
