I recently went through a similar problem with an old Galloni Cast Machine.

Without any documentation you need to contact the manufacturer, unfortunately, it looks like "talleres arocena" went through "Liquidation" in the timeline of 1994 to 1997. Here's a link

I Googled "talleres arocena" and found these

I don't know if any of these will help but I thought I would give it a shot.

You may want to try to locate another company within your industry that has/had the same piece (or similar) of equipment that may still have documentation.

Else try to locate a sharp machine electrician with experience on this or similar equipment.

Good Luck!

I am not familiar with that brand so this will be general information that I hope helps you through this.

Does the machine have an automatic lube system? Low oil or a faulty low oil sensor may shut down the machine. If the lube system is air powered then low air pressure could cause the same. Usually these problems prevent the machine from being turned on instead of shutting it down while in use.

A faulty wire to the magnetic chuck could cause the machine to shut down. It may test ok at first but as the table travels the short can become apparent. As for testing the holding power I usually place the part to be machined on the chuck and turn it on. If I can move or lift the block from the surface of the chuck then it is not holding it sufficiently. Keep in mind this is dependant on the size of the block and if the chuck has fine pole or coarse pole magnet arrangement. So this does not truly test the full rated holding power of the chuck but it does test the holding power versus what you wish to grind.

Also, many machine tool manufacturers do not make their own chucks. So, even though a tool builder goes out of business you might still get information of the chuck through its manufacturer directly. Or post the brand of chuck and someone might be able to give specifics on it.
