Alternate for Poppet Valve

08/02/2011 11:41 AM

We have a poppet valve installed in our hydraulic system.This was supplied during 1996 and is of Mannesmann Rexroth make having model no. M/3 SE 10C 2X/315 G 24NZ 5LB12. I do not have any data for its characteristics. Presently it has started giving trouble and while looking for its replacement, I am not able to locate the altenative. It seems after changing to Bosch Rexroth the company has changed the pattern of nomenclature of the parts.

Can anybody help me in finding the proper alterantive.

Thanking in advance.

I have your answer, and a data sheet for both your existing valve, and your replacement.

The data sheet for the replacement valve can be found here (http://www.boschrexroth.com/country_units/america/united_states/sub_websites/brus_brh_i/en/products_ss/10_standard_valves/a_downloads/re22075_2007-04.pdf - sorry, link no longer available).

If you need to purchase the product, and are located on the western half of the United States, then send me a PM and I'll get it on the way for you (I work for a Rexroth distributor).

If you are located elsewhere, tell me where and I'll get you the name/number for a person who you can purchase the replacement.

If you would like the data-sheet for your existing valve, let me know and I'll run a copy of these pages for you... but this information is quite rare, and even I had a hard time finding it... It's in an original print publication from the 90's.

Ohh and BTW, you have the "C" spool type.

I'll go ahead and breakdown the valve model # for you as well.. (I'm in a good mood today)

M/3 SE 10C 2X/315 G24NZ 5LB12 (Might be missing one digit)

M=Petrolium Oils

/3= 3 service ports

SE=poppet type, directional control valve

10=ISO size 5 NFPA/ANSI D03 interface

C= "C" Spool

2X= Series 2X

/315= 4600PSI (315bar) operating pressure

G24=24VDC

N= with pushbutton manual override

Z55L= Large Angled Plug with Light (assuming you missed a "5")

B12= Orifice 0.047" (1.2mm dia)

Many many thanks RVZ717. I can hardly believe that informations can be found in such a short span of time. You have given all the informations I require and with that I will be able to arrange the valve through our local agent of Bosch Rexroth. Thank you once again.

My pleasure. When I have easy access to that type of (hard to find) information I'm glad to share.

I would imagine that these people should be able to help. I suspect that the long cryptic "part" number you've posted is not the actual model number but a batch number. This is why your search is not producing any useful results.
