	Sir, Can anybody please tell me the points to be considered while installing a DG set in stone crushing application? What are the chances for DG set to get affected by dust? Example : when the door is opened for a long time, when the DG set is placed such that the dusty air from the crushing zone is sucked by the DG set radiator, so we can place the DG set such that the radiatior of DG set is not facing the crusher.Can you add some more points like the above two examples?

	Little bit of extra expanse on cables will save lot money in future, you should use longer cable and keep it far from crusher.

	You have been given the answer before, do what rakesh and I have suggested. Buy some cable and move the generator! I've spent 24 years in quarrying, you will never stop the dust from entering the generator. __________________ The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.

	Sir, Thank you sir, can we place any additonal panel filters(air) or by keeping DG set in room , is there any possibility of reducing the dust entering the DG set? Can we use a duct or involute for the air entry into the DG set to avoid dust?

	Is there a problem with moving the DG? Yes you can enclose the set and fit additional filtering. But the filtering needs constant cleaning. Alternatively fit some form of active dust filtration, this will cost a lot more the a bit of cable and require power to run it. __________________ The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.
