	Good Morning CR4, I have been presented with the challange of a new possition in the drilling industry and find it very interesting. I have spent all of my years working offshore, there Maximo is the standard for CMMS. However the new company has the PROMPTT system, this is designed by Trig Point Solutions. They have not yet fully implimented the system, its almost as if they have purchased a plane and now they are in the market for a pilot... Does anyone in our community have hands on experiance with the PROMPTT system? I will certainly need to do much more study on my own regarding the system, but insight would be greatly appreciated at this point. (humm, spell check not working, be easy on me) Thanks, Tim

	3 questions bothering me : 1) Does it not come with operating instruction (everything does) 2) Every manufacturer has training facility on demand for the client 3) Unless you took the job stating you know PROMPTT System __________________ I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow. 	Ducon, I am quite confidant I can go to the manufacturer and get all the system information I need, should I choose to accept the position. As you can see in the post, I was only asking if anyone in our community had any experience with the system. You sir obviously do not. Thanks for the criticism anyway. Regards, Tim

	Tim, I can't help with Maximo,or PROMPTT. But if the company does not have any experience with PROMPTT, they probably recently purchased the system. Try contacting the company that sells the program. It is in their best interest to ha ve a successful application of their product. They should be willing to help you learn the system. good luck. __________________ Bob
