How to calculate Vena Contra Velocity of a Globe Valve & SPL for Liquid , Steam , Gas Although IEC standard

gives it .. want an example for the same or any other method to find Vena Contra , assuming flow media , flow rate , pressure , temperature in & out , Cv of Valves is known.

Either ask: Floyd D. Jury Technical Consultant, Fisher Controls International, Inc. or get over it and just wear ear plugs when you're around noisy valves.
