Problem With Windows XP

Recently i have bought a design software for fan design.

this software is applicable with windows xp. I have windows 7 proffetional in my lap top

so for xp mode i downloaded xp online. but when i download my fan design software the set up stops with the error of MSSDFMT.DLL.

i have installed all the windows installers that i need and i have downloaded windows updates several times but the problem has remained unsolved.

pleas help me to solve the problem

You don't need XP online.

Windows 7 has a compatibility feature for older software compatible with older Windows versions.

1. Right-click on the fan design program icon.

2. Select Properties

3. Select the Compatibility Tab

4. In that pane, click the top box and select Windows XP, SP3.

Your program should work just fine then.
