WPS

I Have a WPS with base material P1 and Group G1.

Shall I have to go for another WPS according to ASME section 9,if base materials comes under P-1 but group G-1 and G-2?

Per ASME IX, changing Group Numbers is non-essential, so it will require a change to the WPS but doesn't need to be requalified. If your PQR used Group 2 material and impact testing was performed, should should just need to change the WPS. If only Group 1 material was used and no impacts, you will need a new WPS and PQR.
