33% Copper Sulphate Solution

08/26/2011 9:40 AM

What can be the easiest way to make copper sulphate solution (33%) from large sized crystals about 1"x1" or larger? (crushing them into powder is a problem as they are relatively hard & where small sized crusher is not available). Pestle & mortar made of porcelene doesn't fit well.

Don't crush. Use hot water and a mixer. It will take longer to dissolve, but you won't have an extra operation (crushing) to worry about.
