Pinout for IRLML2803 and IRLML6302

04/21/2007 6:52 PM

Hi all. I am making a circuit with International Rectifier's IRLML2803 and IRLML6302 (SOT-23 package) MOSFETS and nowhere in the datasheets can I find the pin number matched with the function.

Instead of going through all the rigamaroll of contacting them and waiting for a reply, does anyone out there know which pins the G ,S and D go to?

Thanks,

Mike

(here are the datasheets in case the answer was staring me right in the face!)

looked them up in Farnell and they have them as top single pin Drain left pin Gate right pin source as from above. cross ref at www.farnell.co.uk best opf luck. go in to catalogue enter part No. 910-2701 in to serch then click on pdf symbal. next go for 910-3406. Should solve it.

Brainwave,

Here is what the DataSheet shows for the pin functions and the numbering. It still does not specify that Pin 1 = G, S or D.

Do you see what I mean?

If I had to GUESS, I would think that the Gate would be Pin 3 (the lone pin) and the diode between the other two.

Mike

Ok here it is (3) is the Drain. (1) is the Gate. (2) is the source.

That ok if you ever need any more info just make a post. I'm around almost 24/7. Sleep just occasionally gets in the way. I have many contacts and a whole load of data books. 35 years of needing to know ends up in some useful info now and again.

Someone should inform them that their documentation is far less than perfect......

I would have guessed wrongly too........

It's funny how the current datasheets from IR for the SOT-23s don't have the legend for the pinouts like the ones from your link??!!

Thanks (I sent to IR and got the same datasheet from your link)
