All, especially those which interest you.
Some topics you will naturally be good at and be interested in, others will need some extra work and study. If you don't understand something ask, and ask again if necessary.
I've always struggled with maths.

I once got pulled up in a maths lecture for asking a quastion... the lecturer made me feel soooo small.
So I turned round and asked the class.. 'Would anyone who understood, please raise your hand'...
No hands went up... I raised my eybrows and sat down.
For the record, that was a 2nd year applied Physics degree... I failed, I quit, and then got some on the job qualifications in Electronics which I was really interested in.

Try to be inquisitive and get a good rounded understanding of all things electronic, electric, mechanical...everything.

Give me one apprentice/student/kid who is keen, interested and actually makes stuff over any deskbound graduate (especialy an MBA) who doesn't know which end of the soldering iron to pick up.
Del
(Just my personal opinion, other opinions are available, contestants must be 18 years or over...
Yeah, and for pities sake have a sense of humour!)

If you're interested in "space" technology, I'd suggest a course in architectural drafting. That will help you learn how to make the most of the space you have to work with.

But, that's jus me.

If you are serious with really putting your career in communication.Try to build your own wireless communication(wakie-talkie) with R&D or laser communication or infra-red security system etc. will be a good start. There are many in the field dedicated and please except the truth that only best will show up.Note: Stay away from people who don't like RF :)
