Image Sensor

For a my microler base project I want to save image data data from a image sensor. as vision sensors are too much expensive I hope to use a web camera or an image sensor.

My knowlege about driving a image sensor is poor please let me know where can I have complete information about it. thanks

Google, yes -- but google something specific like webcam astrophotography. The are a number of amateur astronomers using webcams to capture images. They will probably have covered some of the ground you'll need to cover.
