In vertical pumps (VS4) with separte discharge , the vendor installed metal flushing line from discharge going to each sleeve bearing in the shaft. How does it works and its importance? Many thanks...Godbless...Peace
One thing it does is cool the bearings; if liquid did not circulate, the bearings would heat up. If the fluid has lubricating qualities, it will also provide lubrication to the bearings.
