Ask the instrument workshop supervisor.

Why would you want to put a level transmitter in a steam/water line?

In other words, you may want to really think about what you want to know, and maybe even do some research on the topic before posting here.

Ever heard of Google?

Why would you want to put a level transmitter in a steam/water line?

what is this if we want to meassure flow & pressure in steam line at temp 540 degree and 92 Kg/cm² how it's possible this is my questian.

i know in 540 degree temp steam will danage the transmitter, that's whay in impulse piping we are using condensate pot, it's containing water so it's will safe. but what is for pressure how it's working in high pressure.

If the operation does not already have standardised instruments for this particular application, and if the operation does not have access to the end Client's preferences for this application of equipment, then it's done by stating the fluid, temperature and pressure on an instrument specsheet, and sending it out to instrument suppliers for tendering.

At the moment, the forum doesn't know whether the steam is 540degF, 540degC or 540degK! <sigh>

Define your High pessure,I mean how much in Kg/cm2??

Level is always for a tank or vessel .. why do you ask for an LT in steam & water line??

However PT ( Gauge pressure or Absolute press transmitter) are always available depending on you need & process specifications including temperature and high pressure as you said.)

If you are having high pressure in a closed vessel tank where you want to measure level then the instrument would be different.

Bye & Best wishes
