GRVE Pipes are made from the dual helical winding technology. The major raw materials used for this are fiber glass, Vinyl Ester resin and sand (certain cases). Inner liner consists of surface tissue and Vinyl ester resin for maximum chemical resistance and will enhance abrasion resistance. The structural layer consists of E- glass and Vinyl Ester resin. Outer Liner is a thin layer with structure similar to the structural layer. GRVE Pipes have better mechanical and chemical Properties when compared to GRP Pipes.
Diameters of pipes produced range from 25mm to 2000mm currently.
GRE Pipes
GRE Pipes are made from the dual helical winding technology. The major raw materials used for this are fiber glass, Amine Cured Epoxy resin and sand (certain cases). Inner liner consists of surface tissue and Amine Cured Epoxy resin for maximum chemical resistance and will enhance abrasion resistance. The structural layer consists of E- glass and Amine Cured Epoxy resin. Outer Liner is a small layer with structure similar to the structural layer.
Diameters of pipes produced range from 25mm to 2000mm currently.
For both glass can be chop strand or helical wound. Epoxy
resin or vinyl ester type is chosen based on the application such as type of
fluid temperature, pressure and pH. It is possible to find the type of resin in
either Epoxy or vinyl ester to meet the engineering criteria. They are of different
chemistry that's all.
