I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

Fairly big list here of accidents.

Not knocking your thread. I'm just wondering what aspect of the link we should be discussing.

I'm becoming convinced that sealing up technology in boxes isn't going to work. Eventually the Chinese will get it figured out.

To be fair though, industrial espionage, reverse engineering and stealing intellectual property in order to copy it or circumvent it, are not Chinese inventions. It's been going on for a long time.

As far as railway disasters go, and I don't know, but the link above seems to indicate many more outside of China.....................it could be that theirs go unreported to the rest of the world more often.

Just checked out the link you provided.

"List of rail accidents (2010-2019)"

I'd be interested in seeing the list of rail accidents for next year. I think there's money to be made here in loss prevention.

OK, OK.

The most sophisticated system in the world will fail, if not properly set up. Much gets lost in the translation from English to Chinese, as we all know. Especially if the translation is done by a third party.

Travel insurance scam to push up rates and to get more people to buy. Now whom would own an insurance company in China?

Chances are your credit card carries more than enough "travel insurance" - so long as you use it to purchase your tickets.

Just sayin'
