10/10/2011 5:08 AM

Hi all

Please help me with the API standard document used for the design of Bridle for Pressure Vessels like separators and K.O Drums.

or any other document which explains the orientation and tapping of the Bridle for installation of Level gauges and level switches on them.

Cheers.................

Many years ago I went through a class at Fluor for vessel design. They had created a document for standard designs of vertical and horizontal vessels. Within their document they had standard bridle designs. We in the piping design group would alter bridles in accordance with the P&IDs. I was unfortunate not to follow through the vessel training. Other companies I have been associated with would buy the complete vessel from a supplier. Might consider contacting a vessel company (ACE).
