Why Turbine Flowmeter are not used for steam service?

  • Rust and scale particles in the pipeline.
  • The risk of two-phase flow.
  • Expansion considerations in the bearings.
  • Maintaining lubricity in the bearings.
  • Risk of silica deposit (silica is soluble in steam).
  • Etc.

Yeah but if you put an Etc filter upstream would that help.
