IC components for a HITEC SERVO HS_7950TH

10/10/2011 5:38 AM

Hi!

We are trying to repaire a large number of HITEC SERVOS unfortunatly HITEC won't supply the specs for an SMD IC.

We think it is an Opp. Amp it only has X1 on it. It has 6 Pins there is also a similar package with H3 on it. It looks like a buffer or comparator it supplies the digital possition signal to an ATMEG48 Microcontroler.

Can anyone help?

Rachael

I did a google search and I came up with this for the " X1"

UMX1/EMX1 with is a dual transistor package

UMH3N Is another dual transistor

If you have a large number with same or similar damage, someone is doing something wrong.

I guess you don't want to pay the original price, but have a thought, provided your company is doing nothing wrong, it could be a design problem. If you get the official repair/replacement, it could be that you will get the newer updated version.

Repairing them yourself, even if done really well, just puts you back to before they broke the first time......

Send a few back for official repair, check them out when they come back, remove parts and see exactly what they are.....then you can update the rest maybe.....

Just a thought!!!
